City Centre Environment

The Go Forth Stirling business plan aims to create a cleaner, greener, safer city centre.

Go Forth Stirling were one of a group of partners who worked with Police Scotland to deliver Operation Steadfast in 2018, which returns to Stirling again for 2019. The main aims of Operation Steadfast are to; reduce the number of proxy sales of alcohol,  reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, make the community safer, protect children and vulnerable people from harm, improve the quality of life of people living in and visiting Stirling.

Cleaner and Greener
Cleanliness was the thing that most of you mentioned both leading up to the 2017 ballot and more recently when we consulted with you in the spring/summer of 2019. We are taking with Stirling Council, Keep Scotland Beautiful and Zero Waste Scotland to devise an action plan for the city centre. As a first step we launched a commercial waste audit for Stirling City Centre in May 2019, the results of which can be found HERE.
